Introduction
Kerryn Leanne Dance & Performing Arts, formerly known as Kerryn Leanne Academy of Dance was established in 1988. Kerryn Brimmer, the principal of KLD ensures all classes are undertaken in a safe and caring manner following the Australian Guidelines of Safe Dance Practice.

- Provide and nuture a love of dance and the performing arts
- Develop student’s cognitive and motor skills
- Build and foster self-discipline, confidence and self-esteem
- Instill in students the importance of punctuality, reliability and responsibility
- Offer students a wide range of opportunities to develop their skills in dance and the performing arts
- Provide encouragement and support to students and parents
- Provide a fun and creative class environment
- Employ committed and dedicated staff with advanced skills in their teaching area
- Give students a sense of achievement through the opportunity to do concerts, performances, productions, examinations and competitions.
- In competitions, KLD firmly believes in a positive approach to competing and enters students for the many benefits gained by working as a group towards a common goal rather than just “winning a trophy”.
