Day 1

With many excited and nervous faces we departed Tullamarine airport after a 31/2 hour delay due to fog in Melbourne. Upon arrival at LAX (Los Angeles Airport) we again faced delays due to spring break and were placed on separate flights to Las Vegas. After some confusion with parties traveling, Kerryn finally arranged all of her students to be traveling together onto Las Vegas. KLD Cheerleaders were met in Las Vegas by Sharon Winter (D.I.R. Tour Manager) and taken to their accommodation. After a brief meeting to say hello for the first time, KLD Cheerleaders went for a walk along the strip of Las Vegas. We were all very eager to visit the huge 4 storey M&M factory and to eat burgers at “Wendys”.
