Day Four

After 2 days of training as a team we were up early the next morning (2am to be exact) to depart for Myrtle Beach. Our flight went via Charlotte, North Carolina before arriving at South Carolina at 3.30pm. It was very exciting as other Cheerleaders were boarding flights and flight attendants made an announcement that the “Australian Cheerleading Team” were onboard. Upon arrival in Myrtle Beach the entire town was swarming with cheerleaders and our resort Sea Mist Hotel was fully booked. The weather was freezing and everyone was diving for their warmer clothes putting on layers of clothing beneath the Australian track-suit.
