Day Seven

The third and final day of competition was the second round of performances for both routines. Again another 7am start and some quick adjustments to the routines to ensure the teams would perform at peak level. The excitement of all team members shone through as they performed with enthusiasm and dynamic energy. The awards presentation was held in the afternoon. While no other teams competed in the Senior Recreation division Team Australia was presented with another championship trophy. Whilst KLD Cheerleaders were placed 5th runners-up after receiving a perfect score of 15 for perfection of routine. A fantastic result.

After all the excitement KLD Cheerleaders were taken out to dinner at the Hard Rock Café. The hard work had paid off and now the team members could relax and enjoy the remainder of their trip. The final leg of our journey would be spent sight-seeing.
